How it works

1

Connect Apple Health

Allow HealthKit on your iPhone. Data is read on-device and queued encrypted.

2

Grant your assistant

Pick an MCP-compatible assistant, choose categories and lookback. Checked on every request.

3

Ask away

Your assistant answers with your numbers, within the permissions you set.

Why I built HealthBridge

It started with a simple question: why is understanding my own health so complicated?

I'm a software engineer, and recently I started making some important changes in my life — focusing more on my health, well-being, sleep, and physical activity.

I wanted to move beyond simply reacting to health problems. I wanted to understand my body better, recognize patterns, and make smarter decisions about my long-term health.

But I quickly discovered something frustrating.

I had plenty of health data. What I didn't have was the bigger picture.

Blood test results were buried in emails. Medical reports lived in PDFs. Doctor's notes and prescriptions were scattered across paper documents. Meanwhile, my iPhone and Apple Watch were collecting valuable information about my sleep, heart rate, and daily activity.

All this information was about the same person — me. Yet none of these systems could really talk to each other.

So I did what any software engineer would do. I tried to build a solution.

I started using an AI assistant to bring my medical history together, analyze test results, and help me make sense of the information.

And surprisingly, it worked. Almost.

There was one missing piece: the everyday health data from my Apple Watch and iPhone.

Connecting that data to my AI assistant turned out to be far more complicated than it should have been.

I could probably solve it with custom code, APIs, and a few workarounds. But then I realized something:

If I need to be a software engineer just to let my AI assistant understand my health data, how is everyone else supposed to do it?

That question became the starting point for HealthBridge.

I wanted to create something simple: a secure bridge between the health data we already collect and the AI assistants we choose to trust.

No coding. No complicated setup. Just connect your data, choose what you're comfortable sharing, and let your AI assistant see a more complete picture.

Because I believe the future of personal health isn't about collecting more data.

It's about finally making sense of the data we already have.

And that should be possible for everyone.
